Establishes eligibility for service members enlisted in any branch of the Armed Forces of the U.S. to receive Working Connections Child Care. 

Eligibility established in HB 1141 must consider:

  • Cases where the household income of the service member does not exceed 85% of state median income
  • The length of the service member’s military service, while prioritizing longer serving members in waitlists
  • May not require a copayment higher than 65$ per month.
