HB2513 requires the Department of Health to contract with a third party entity to create a statewide resource for behavioral health and suicide prevention in post-secondary institutions that includes training curriculum and model protocols. 

HB2513 also creates a grant program to fund post-secondary institutions’ behavioral health and suicide prevention efforts and requires that the first six grants be awarded to community and technical colleges. Post-secondary institutions shall submit annual reports to the Department of Health.
