Governor: Funding is eliminated for an additional $58.08 incentive payment to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) parents who participate in mandatory WorkFirst activities at least 20 hours per week and meet the requirements of their Individual Responsibility Plans (IRP). The incentive payment is in addition to the regular monthly cash grant clients already receive.

House: Funding is eliminated for an additional $55 incentive payment to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) parents who participate in mandatory WorkFirst activities at least 20 hours per week and meet the requirements of their Individual Responsibility Plans (IRP). Payments were to begin in the last quarter of FY 2015, however IT changes have not occurred to enable the payment during FY 2015. The incentive payment was to be provided in addition to the regular monthly cash assistance.

Senate: The 2014 Supplemental budget included funding for an additional $55 payment to Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) households who participate in mandatory WorkFirst activities at least 20 hours per week and meet the requirements of their Individual Responsibility Plans (IRP). Payments were scheduled to begin in the last quarter of FY2015, however no payments occurred. Funding for this program is eliminated. This reduction includes $3.5 million in staffing savings (22 FTE) and $11.6 million in benefit savings.
