Research Consultant

Kristen joined the Strive Team in the summer of 2019. She grew up in Oregon and knew very early that all children deserve a supportive family like hers. Kristen was also lucky to find a career home at Oregon Social Learning Center, learning about all aspects of social science research centered on the development and testing of preventive interventions for families. In 1999, she joined Dr. Phil Fisher in developing the Stress Neurobiology and Prevention Lab at OSLC and the University of Oregon, implementing research in treatment foster care, parent training, and video coaching intervention. After moving to Seattle to be part of a multi-generational home she landed with the Strive team, where she supports Strive providers as well as Strive research.
