Children and dependent persons, including frail elder and vulnerable adults, will be protected through clarification that parents and guardians are allowed to rely exclusively on religious healing practices under RCW 26.44.020, unless any such decision should pose a clear and present danger to the health, welfare, or safety of a child or dependent person.
Children and dependent persons will be protected from abuse and neglect, as defined, and such abuse and neglect is punishable by law.
