HB 1408 tasks the office of the education ombuds and the educational opportunity gap oversight and accountability committee to recommend to the legislature a single definition for the terms family engagement coordinator, parent and family engagement coordinator, parent involvement coordinator, and a model or framework for the staff position. The deadline for these recommendations is December 1, 2015.
This act expires July 1, 2016.
