HB 1483: Extending the business and occupation deduction for government-funded behavioral health services

HB 1483 extends the business and occupation deduction for government-funded behavioral health services by reenacting and amending RCW 82.04.4277.

The legislature intends to support behavioral health services that can prevent more serious and costly health issues, and categorizes the tax preference contained in RCW 82.04.4277 as one intended to reduce taxes so more money can go directly to behavioral health services.
