HB 1641: Concerning informed consent for nonemergency, outpatient, primary health care services for unaccompanied homeless youth under the federal McKinney-Vento homeless assistance act

HB 1641 makes a technical correction to the law, passed in 2016, that authorized informed consent for health care on behalf of a patient, who is incapacitated because he or she is under the age of majority and is not otherwise authorized to provide informed consent, to be obtained from a school nurse, school counselor, or homeless student liaison under certain circumstances.
