HB 1784: Relating to the prevention of childhood obesity in early learning programs

Sponsored by Rep. Farrell, HB 1784 directs the Department of Early Learning to:  consider the prevention of childhood obesity when adopting rules relating to physical activity, screen time, and nutritional standards for all early learning programs; and to provide parents who are utilizing early learning programs or services culturally relevant information pertaining to the prevention of childhood obesity.
