Training on human trafficking awareness shall be provided to hotel and motel staff to prevent trafficking in those locations.
Annual training must be provided for all employees with minimum requirements outlined. All locations must have signage posted regarding human trafficking awareness and also must implement a procedure for voluntary reporting.
The department may not renew a location’s license if they have not met these requirements.
