HB 2457: Establishing the health care cost transparency board

HB2457 establishes the HealthCare Cost Transparency Board. The board is responsible for the analysis of total health care expenditures, identifying trends in health care cost growth, and establishing a cost growth benchmark. The board shall provide analyses of the factors impacting these trends and identify providers and payers that are exceeding the health care cost growth benchmark. Membership and further regulations of this board are defined.
