HB 2694: Concerning background checks in emergency placement situations requested by tribes

HB 2694 relates to the emergency placement of children in out of home care due to appropriate parents or custodians. The bill would amend existing law to expand functions in these instances from resting solely with the Department of Social and Human Services.
