This bill will provide $3.65 billion over the next five years to support full-service community schools. These schools provide integrated supports for students, including nutritional, medical, and mental health services, mentoring, youth development programs, technical assistance, and continuing education courses. The bill also provides funding to establish state-level team to provide professional development opportunities and resources for community school staff.
