HR 3345: Helping Medicaid Offer Maternity Services (MOMS) Act

This act will amend the American Rescue Plan to eliminate the time limite on the state option to extend postpartum Medicaid coverage, allowing states a permanent option to extend coverage. The act will also increase the Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) rate by 5% for pregnancy-related services in the first year states adopt extended postpartum coverage.
