HR 341: Ensuring Telehealth Expansion Act

This bill will permanently extend telehealth provisions from the CARES Act and reimburse providers at the same payment rates of face-to-face visits. Additionally, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) will be required to submit a report to Congress at the end of year five on the successes and limitations of telehealth specifically detailing savings or costs associated with the extensions. The report will have a specific emphasis on how telehealth extensions have benefited rural areas throughout the United States.
