This bill will extend the deadline for a report on social, cultural, and economic challenges facing Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Native American youth from 3 years to 5 years after an 18-month delay in funding. The Alyce Spooted Bear and Walter Soboleff Commission on Native Children conducts a comprehensive study on programs, grants, and supports available for Native Children and makes relevant recommendations by building on strengths and leadership of Native communities.
