This bill would provide low-income students with greater financial support as it cuts tuition costs, and covers othere basic expenses that can interfere with their education through new federal-state partnership programs, increased Pell Grants, as well as more tools that connect students with federal safety net programs. In addition, this would also give students more flexible college options, invests in providing more support to a more diverse generation of students, as well as strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities, as well as other Minority Serving Institutions.
