HR 8443: To amend part E of title IV of the Social Security Act to require States to provide for the placement of a foster child in a cottage home, and to make a child so placed eligible for foster care maintenance payments.

This bill will ensure community care centers are still federally funded in order to serve at risk youth in the foster care system.

These community centers provide guidance, security, and belonging to children in their care. This bill will allow these centers to be added as an option as foster care placements.
