SB 5566: Expanding eligibility for the independent youth housing program

SB 5566 expands eligibility for the Independent Youth Housing Program to any individual who has not reached the age of 25 and who was a dependent under the state before their eighteenth birthday. The bill removes the stipulation that eligibility is contingent upon the individual not receiving other state services (including Extended Foster Care).
