SB 5730: Relating to funding higher education child care grants, referred to Committee on Higher Education

Sponsored by Senator Ranker, SB 5730 states that $250,000 from unclaimed lottery prizes must be deposited from into the student child care in higher education account for both fiscal years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015, divided equally between the four-year and two-year programs. The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will administer the program for the two-year institutions of higher education.
