SB 5736: Concerning partial hospitalizations and intensive outpatient treatment services for minors

SSB 5736 adds partial hospitalizations and intensive outpatient treatment services for children under 21 years of age as services that qualify for legislative funding for behavioral health administrative services organizations and managed care organizations. Additionally, the bill states that the health care authority shall take steps to add coverage for partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for children under age 18 to the Medicaid state plan by January 1, 2024.
