SB 5825: Relating to alternative methods of satisfying continuing education credits for health care providers

Sponsored by Senator Brown, SB 5825 states that a person renewing a health care provider license may satisfy up to 25% of his or her continuing education credits by providing medical services to people enrolled in Medicaid or, at no cost, to people who are uninsured. For each hour spend providing direct care, one continuing education credit will be given.
