SB 6196: Creating a homelessness impact grant program to address security and sanitation impacts of homeless populations

SB 6196 creates a Homelessness Impact Grant Program to address security and sanitation impacts of homeless populations.  The department must administer this grant program to cities in counties with a population of individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness that exceeds five hundred. Grant funds must be used to provide additional security or sanitation services for the protection of persons or property within the boundaries of the chamber of commerce, or business improvement area.
