SB 6383: Concerning the requirements for filing a petition for a superior court to deal with a dependent child

SB 6383 relates to requirements for filing a petition for a superior court to deal with a dependent child. The bill would amend current statute in which counties with probation officers shall first determine if a petition is reasonably justifiable. The amendment would create an exception to this clause in the event DSHS is the petitioner.
