SB 6393: Relating to the distribution of marijuana tax revenues for local law enforcement officers

SB 6393 directs $20 million from the revenue generated as a result of the sale of marijuana to go to cities and towns, and $5 million to go to counties to be used for additional law enforcement officers. The share paid to each city or town, as well as the share paid to the county, must be determined ratably on the basis of population as last determined by the Office of Financial Management.
