SB 6540: Concerning working connections child care payment authorizations

All eligible families shall receive the full twelve months of subsidized Working Connections Child Care.

The department shall establish and implement policies in the program to promote stability and quality of care for children from low-income households. These policies shall focus on supporting school readiness for young learners. 

Amendments: 

Specifies that a household’s 12-month Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) authorization period begins on the date that child care is expected to begin. Defines “authorization” for the purposes of WCCC.
