Partners for Our Children

A pilot program of basic income and supports is created to provide a cohort of low-income individuals engaged in job training programs with access to housing and a cash stipend for essential needs. The legislature will study the outcomes of the program and analyze the program’s resiliency and ability to help Washingtonians adapt to a fast-changing economy. Pilot program details are outlined with specific requirements.

Any cash assistance shall not be considered in determining eligibility for public assistance during pilot program.
