SB 8008: Urging federal legislation to prohibit the sale of tobacco and vapor products to anyone under the age of twenty-one

This Senate Joint Memorial urges federal legislation to prohibit the sale of tobacco and vapor products to anyone under the age 21, and establishes that upon passage of SB 5057, copies of this memorial shall be immediately transmitted to the President of the United States, the President of the U.S. Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and each member of Congress from WA state.

  • Changed the scope of the joint memorial to include the use of tobacco and vapor products, in addition to the purchase of the products.
  • Changed a reference to Senate Bill 5057 to the House companion measure, Engrossed House Bill 1074.
