Senate: One-time funding is provided for the administration of the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) to ninth and tenth grade participants in the college bound program. OSPI will partner with a national non-profit organization that offers aptitude test. The organization will provide: annual feedback on student progress; feedback regarding student outcomes; access to state-of-the-art learning tools including free, personalized practice; access to college and career planning tools; outreach to high achieving, low-income students, to increase enrollment applications to public four-year institutions of higher education; and will provide at no cost to income eligible students the opportunity to take the PSAT twice.
