Homeless Student Outcomes

House: Funding is provided for implementation of Engrossed Second Substitute House Bill 1682 (homeless students), creating a competitive grant program to for school districts to pilot increased identification of homeless students and the capacity of school districts to support homeless students. The grants are required to be awarded based on demonstrated need of the applying school districts.
