House: Funding is provided for the Kip Tokuda Memorial Washington Civil Liberties Public Education Program. The purpose of the program is to fund public educational activities and development of educational materials focused on the events surrounding the exclusion, forced removal, and internment of civilians and permanent resident aliens of Japanese ancestry.
Senate: Included funding for this through an amendment in Ways and Means.
