Partners for Our Children is thrilled to welcome Kim Justice (she/her) as director of public policy for P4C. In this role, Justice will lead efforts to influence public policy related to child welfare, behavioral health and related social issues in Washington State. She will also serve as a consultant to the University of Washington (UW) School of Social Work leadership team on matters of public policy, while acting as the primary interface between the Washington State Legislature and UW’s offices of state and federal relations.
Justice has over 20 years of experience in change making through public policy development, legislative advocacy, executive leadership and community organizing. Prior to joining P4C, Justice served as the inaugural executive director of the Office of Homeless Youth at the Department of Commerce. She has also worked as a senior budget analyst with the Washington State Budget and Policy Center, a policy advisor for the Washington State House of Representatives and as a community organizer and lobbyist for the Statewide Poverty Action Network.
Justice has been involved in successful initiatives aimed at promoting equity and opportunity for Washington residents, particularly in housing, health care, economic support, consumer protection and progressive revenue.

Justice lives in Olympia with her wife and their 7 year old daughter. Her hobbies include beekeeping and weightlifting.
