This act would require employers to make reasonable accommodations to allow pregnant workers to continue working safely, including additional bathroom breaks and light duty or a place to sit if a worker stands all day. The act would also prohibit employers from denying employment opportunities to individuals based on their need for reasonable accommodations due to childbirth or related medical conditions.
