ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Angelique is an Affiliate Faculty with P4C and is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Social Work. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Western Michigan University.  Angelique’s focus is the well-being of older youth engaged in out-of-home care, with an emphasis on the development and testing intervention techniques within the child welfare and education systems.  She is testing the efficacy of a foster, adoptive, and kinship parent training intervention on the placement stability and permanency of teens.  She is also testing the efficacy of targeted college access and retention programs on post-secondary completion rates of students who have foster care histories.
