SOPHIA MERELAS

Sophia received her MEd from the University of Oregon in Preventions Science in 2022. She works as a research coordinator on the Strive team, which is a curriculum-based program that bolsters quality visits between parents and their children in foster care. She is passionate about community-based participatory research, and had worked to promote COVID safety measures in Latinx communities, and also with populations that have experienced intergenerational stress and trauma.
