Partners for Our Children

Training Evaluation

Since 2010 Partners for Our Children has evaluated the training efforts of The Alliance for Professional Development, Training, and Caregiver Excellence.

The Alliance unites the resources of five organizations committed to improving child welfare in Washington state. The collaboration is comprised of three higher-education institutions: University of Washington, Seattle; University of Washington, Tacoma and Eastern Washington University as well as the Department of Children, Youth and Families, and P4C.

By sharing curricula, delivery methods, and evaluation tools, the Alliance strengthens the professional expertise of social workers and community providers statewide, enhances the care-giving skills of foster and adoptive parents and relative caregivers, and ensures a more coherent and comprehensive approach to social work education and training.

P4C is a key partner in The Alliance for Professional Development, Training, and Caregiver Excellence, collaborating with practitioners, researchers, and administrators throughout Washington state to define social worker competencies, develop curricula, and evaluate the efforts of the Alliance.
