HB 1882: Relating to reviewing sexual orientation change efforts for children

Sponsored by Rep. Liias, HB 1882 directs the department to establish a work group to review and make recommendations on the practice of sexual orientation change efforts on persons under eighteen years of age in Washington.  The make-up and duties of the work group are identified. The findings and recommendations of the work group shall be reported to the governor, the appropriate committees of the legislature, and the disciplining authorities representing mental health providers by December 15, 2013.
