SB 5736: Relating to savings from performance management

SB 5736 amends the official state caseload forecast to include an estimated savings in forecasted programs resulting from applying lean management or other performance management strategies for the purposes of reducing waste, or improving efficiencies and savings at state agencies. All agencies are to provide to the supervisor, OFM, and to Results Washington, (or its successor entity) immediate access to budget documents incorporating estimated measurable savings, and reduced expenditures.
