SB 5764: Relating to the right to jury trial in termination actions

Sponsored by Sen. Roach, SB 5764 requires that cases tried in juvenile court regarding termination of parental rights per RCW13.34 be tried with a jury (all other juvenile court case are tried without a jury). Further, the bill states that the right to trial by jury shall apply to all termination actions. The rules of evidence shall apply, and shall not be relaxed in all jury trials in termination actions.
