Governor: Funding is provided for additional caseload in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. When determining eligibility for a child-only case, the department shall not count 50 percent of the caregiver’s unearned income.
Senate: Subject to Senate Bill 6394 (TANF benefits for a child), funding is provided for additional child-only cases in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program that will result from DSHS adopting a rule to exempt 50 percent of unearned income to determine eligibility and benefit standards for non-parental caregivers.
House: Same as above.
