We provide input on proposals and legislation related to children and families – and whenever possible, we bolster public policy discussions with research evidence and/or data. We advocate for policies that will build stronger systems around vulnerable children and families, so that they have access to the resources and services they need to thrive.
Partners for Our Children’s policy work is spearheaded by POC’s policy director, Laurie Lippold, who has spent much of her career advocating for the most vulnerable children and families in our communities. Laurie joined POC in 2012.
Our policy efforts are most effective when we work collaboratively with other advocates who share our same interests. If you are interested in discussing how we can work together to drive positive policy change, contact us.
